Was Alexander the Great a "good leader"? Compare/Contrast with Pericles.

Alexander was a good leader as was Pericles. Both of these leaders helped their stated through tough times and the each developed their own plan on how to succeed. However, Alexander the great went directly to the enemy and put his plans to action as soon as possible. Alexander anted everything to be done vastly so he could establish a vast empire until the day he was no more. Pericles was more worried about fixing his city and certain structues and made Athens one of the best cities in all of Greece. Alexander was more worried about the size of his city and Pericles was more worried about the content. Alexander was a great military leader and was considered a god b his people. However i would rather be ruled my perciles becase his country was better knowledge wise. Alexander Created a great empire but it was all mostly lost after he died. Alexander was a very good and strong leader but Perciles was a better one.
